摘要

Indexed X-ray powder diffraction data are reported for the homologous compound (ZnO)_5(In_1-xY_x)_2O_3. The structures of (ZnO)_5In_2O_3 and of (ZnO)_5(In_1-xY_x)_2O_3 were refined by the Rietveld technique on the basis of the space group R3m. Refined unit cell dimensions are a =3.3285(1) A, c=58.127(2) A, v=557.71(3) A~3, D_x=6.11 g/cm~3, R_wp=10.52, R_b=8.56 for (ZnO)_5In_2O_3, and a=3.3505(1) A, c=57.863(1) A, v=562.53(2) a~3, d_x=5.97 g/cm~3, R_wp =9.05, R_b=6.94 for (znO)_5(In_0.8Y_0.2)_2O_3.
