摘要

The structure and optical characteristics of Cu(II) ion complex formed with bis(2-methacryloyloxyethyl) phos- phate (PMOE) were investigated in a MMA monomer solution and in its polymerized resin. The complex showed a broad absorption peak at around 840nm in the monomer solution, which results from a Jahn-Teller effect. The complex probably formed a monomeric structure of Cu(II) complex by the coordination of PMOE molecules. The transparent resin polymerized from the monomer solution showed the same optical feature as the of the monomer.
