Japans Nuclear Energy: Misunderstood?

Japan has most actively promoted the use of nuclear energy for peaceful uses in Asia to secure stable supply of energy for the future. In addition, it is our policy in Japan to recycle the plutonium recovered from used uranium as fuel for our nuclear power plants in order to more efficiently utilize our uranium resources. However, it is well known that this plutonium is causing concern abroad. There are very small number of people from abroad who will talk with us candidly about how they view Japan's nuclear energy development; however, Professor Kim, who teaches International Politics of Nuclear Energy in Korea, summarized his opinions about our country's nuclear energy. Although some of his misunderstanding can be found in his opinions as well, we submit it as a valuable presentation.
