Coal share prices climb as energy stocks dip

Despite a broad and dramatic drop in energy and other stocks Friday, shares of US coal producers were up mostly across the board, continuing a weeklong pattern that has come from a mix of opportunistic buying and changing strategies, a coal trader said Friday.
