Northeast spot power prices were mixed in trading ahead of the long holiday weekend and cold weather. In New England, Mass Hub on-peak rose close to $10 to be near $135/MWh for Friday delivery on the Intercontinental Exchange. Mass Hub on-peak packages for Thursday traded at $128/MWh. Mass Hub on-peak weekend packages were exchanged between $76/MWh and $85/MWh. Mass Hub on-peak next-week packages traded between $90/MWh and $110/MWh on ICE. In the New York ISO territory, on-peak locational marginal prices were mixed for Thursday delivery. NYISO Zone G Hudson Valley on-peak gave up close to $7 to near $44.75/MWh. Zone J New York City on-peak also gave up around $7 to be around $45.25/MWh. Zone A West on-peak shed around $4.50 to be close to $37.50/MWh.
