Jury reaches guilty verdict in Davis-Besse case

A former Davis-Besse engineer who was a central figure in a federal criminal investigation into inaccurate reporting about the plant's condition was convicted August 26 of concealing information and making false statements about boric acid buildup on the plant's reactor head in fall 2001.
