Low-carbon developer Enterprize Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazilian state Rio Grande do Norte to study offshore wind and renewable hydrogen and ammonia potential off the country’s northern coastline. Under the agreement, Enterprize Energy will identify and develop potential multi-gigawatt offshore wind projects and conduct environmental and socio-economic impact assessments. The company will study the economic viability of desalination and green hydrogen production hubs for domestic and international distribution, as well as supply chain appraisal and infrastructure requirements, it said.
