Lower wind generation lifts ERCOT day-ahead; next-week rises

Lower wind generation expected Tuesday helped lift day-ahead prices in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Monday, while next-week on-peak price was much higher than the day-ahead price as much colder weather was expected ahead. On the Intercontinental Exchange, North Hub next-day on-peak price for Tuesday delivery traded about $4 higher on the day in the low $20s/MWh.
