This "universal" nozzle tip reportedly can replace three different tips - general-purpose, nylon, and ABS types. It's said to control or eliminate strings (particularly with ABS) and other problems while avoiding high shear and pressure loss. It also eliminates the need for sprue break and allows for longer pack time than g-p nozzle tips.
