Dyna-Purge improves purging compound

The Dyna-Purge~® Division of Shuman Plastics, Inc., has introduced an improved Dyna-Purge~® SF engineered purging compound for use in a broad range of extrusion applications. According to Tim Cutler, Dyna-Purge business manager, the enhanced formulation of new Dyna-Purge SF works faster and requires less material than other types of commercial purging compounds.rnThe company adds that it lowers the cost-to-purge up to 46 per cent compared to mechanical/chemical (hybrid) and mechanical (abrasive) brands tested.
