Pittsburgh, Eaton team on electrical lab

The newly opened electrical power system lab at the University of Pittsburgh will explore the next generation of energy efficiency strategies while educating the next generation of electrical engineers. The lab opened at the Benedum Hall of Engineering on the Pittsburgh campus Jan. 9. The lab's equipment was donated by Eaton, continuing a long tradition of the power management company's support of the university and its Swanson School's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Pittsburgh's Center for Energy.
