2015 Energy Management Study: U.S. Energy Management In The South

More than one-quarter of respondents to the Plant Engineering 2015 Energy Management Study were based in the Southern region of the U.S. (states included in this division stretch from Delaware to Texas). Below are six key findings as they relate to managing energy in manufacturing facilities located in the Southern U.S.: 1. Energy audits: Fifty-four percent of respondents' facilities conduct regular energy audits. Sixty-four percent conduct these audits annually, compared to 12% quarterly and 2% twice per year.
