Linkedln has proven to be a fertile ground for plant managers to seek advice on plant floor problem and to exchange ideas. A recent post on the Reliability Success Linkedln group generated a wide variety of responses to a post from Alaa Thabet: "If you go to a new job as maintenance manager at a factory which has a 'run to failure' culture and all works is reactive, there is no work order system, no PM or PDM, what is the first thing you should do?"
