New materials for local radiation protection

摘要

Possibilities of the use of new composite materials for local radiation protection of spacecraft electronic components are discussed. The characteristics of protective materials in the form of plates or pastes deposited on the protected elements are considered. The results of theoretical and experimental simulations of the materials radiation absorption properties are given. Examples of the local radiation protection efficiency for some specific situations of orbit flights are presented.
