Interaction Design in Italy: Where We Are

It was in 1995 when a special issue of SIGCHI bulletin depicted the state of the art of Human Computer Interaction research in Italy. In that publication, two elements emerged as crucial:rn1.the research on HCI in Italy was mainly devoted to the application of User Centred Design methodology for the development and the evaluation of software GUIs;rn2.the research on HCI in Italy was mainly conducted by people operating in the fields of computer science and cognitive psychology.
