Report on construction materials price trends June 2001

The retail prices of construction materials in Metro Manila were relatively stable. Out of the (16) selected construction materials for housing, only six registered price gains. The price of Electrical Wiring TW# 12, stranded 15 m/roll registered the price of (12%), followed by Reinforcing Steel Structural deformed 12mm × 6 m (10%), Reinforcing Steel Intermediate deformed, 10mm × 6m (8%), Portland Cement (8%), Concrete Pipes, non-Reinforced 6" dia (8%), and Electrical Conduit, GI 1/2" dia × 10 (6%).
