COVID-19 has necessitated the launchof hybrid theatrical release modelsbased on shorter theatrical exclusivity,including day-and-date PVOD, day-and-dateSVOD, dynamic PVOD (17–31 days), andSVOD (30–45 days) exclusivity.For studios, this has been an opportunityto experiment and at the same time drivesubscriptions to D2C channels.
