Mobile first, TV second: TikTok moves to smart TVs with Samsung

Social video platform TikTok has signed a pact with Samsung that willsee a TikTok app pre-installed on new Samsung TV sets. The app willoffer some of TikTok’s most-liked and most-watched content but,unlike the native app, will not require users to register for an account.The new TikTok smart TV service launched in UK in December, withadditional European launches expected in 2021.
