Disney+ launches in eight new Western European markets

Disney’s direct-to-consumer OTT subscription video service Disney+ has launched in eight new markets in Western Europe, namely Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal and Sweden. The service offered in these territories will match its offering in its existing European markets, including content from the libraries of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. The new services also offered the same pre-order discount prior to launch and are now available at the same price (€6.99 pm/€69.99 pa) and at equivalent local currency prices across the Nordic markets.
