The big hurdles to mainstream adoption of video on cell phones today aren''t so much matters of technology as they are of business models. That''s good news, if you think companies like Verizon can be as clever as, say, Apple has been with iTunes, in presenting an elegant device, striking deals for content, making end-user software simple, and keeping pricing attractive. In Japan and Korea, as well as Western Europe, where cellular providers have been quick to find business models that made sense, video on cell phones is more popular than it is in the United States. Still, all signs point to an entertainment future filled with choice
