The field of Translation Studies is well known for its propensity to overlap with other areas of knowledge. In Translation and Language Education: Pedagogic approaches explored, Sara Laviosa contributes to this trend and invites the reader to consider translation not only as a product but also as a means for language learning. Her approach drinks from the wells of previous theories that have argued against the idea that language interaction occurs in isolation.
