Personalized Health Care National Conferencen– Translating Science into Personalized HealthnCare (OH, USA), cohosted by the The OhionState University (OSU) Center for PersonalizednHealth Care (OH, USA), The Ohio StatenUniversity Comprehensive Cancer Centern– James Cancer Hospital (OH, USA) andnSolove Research Institute (OH, USA), was heldnon 16–17 October, 2008. The PersonalizednMedicine Coalition (DC, USA) was a co-sponsornof the inaugural event, which drew morenthan 220 attendees. The audience was comprisednof a diverse group of healthcare stakeholdersnincluding thought leaders from academic medicine,npharma, biotech, diagnostics, informationntechnology companies, government agencies,nhealthcare providers, scientists, payors andnpatient advocacy organizations.
