A tribute to Dr. Geary A. Rummler

IN OCTOBER 2008, the field of performance improvement and the InternationalrnSociety for Performance Improvement (ISPI) lost one of our finest thinkers when Dr.rnGeary A. Rummler, CPT, passed away. His body of work forms a critical underpinningrnfor performance improvement professionals to access as they approach problems andrnopportunities in the workplace. The models he developed and continually refinedrnthroughout his career, and his generosity in sharing them with colleagues worldwide,rnhave a permanent place in the performance improvement pantheon and in the hearts ofrnso many who learned from Geary and were privileged to work with him.
