Canon's Lide 700F brings in some inter-esting additionsto the design and features of its predecessor, the Lide 100 scanner.rnThe 700F retains the basic overall slim design and weighing 2.1 Kg, the slim scanner features a 3-way flip out stand that allows it to be used in either portrait, landscape or vertical placement. This is extremely helpful, as the scanner can be placed in different positions as per the space available for use. There are 4 buttons on the front assigned for copy, scan, PDF and e-rnmail. It comes with an accessory attachment that allows scanning of slide film. But it can scan only one frame at a time. Setup is very easy and the provided software is simple to use.
