I want to get a portal developed for an NGO. I have no idea as to what platform would be the best bet for the NGO to develop the site on? Wordpress, Joomla, Dru-pal or something else? What feature set and support functionality should I look for? In terms of budget, I have limitations, I can afford a maximum of Rs 10k. Also, the CMS should be user friendly and should not require coding for inserting images, etc. i want a discussion forum as a subdomain if not integrated on the home page itself. As of content, the site will have some 15 static pages, plus the daily/weekly news story up-loads.There wilj be a photo section that will flaunt images with captions. Would also like to know the various monetization models. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.
