This is a compact smartphone meant for the budget segment. It costs around 10k and by virtue of its decent features and good load-handling, it's worth buying. The smartphone is based on Android 4.0, which can be upgraded to Android 4.1. It's very compact, like the Sony Xperia Tipo, and has a rubberised body which makes it very easy to grip and use. The display is not the finest and at 480x320p, appears low and ordinary. The 5MP camera is average and can shoot ordinary outdoor images and videos. Its battery lasted a good 5 hours in our tests, which involved video playback at 50% volume and full brightness. Though Sony Tipo has a smaller display (3.2 to Desire's 3.5inch), they both weigh just 98g. Tipo has 800MHz processor while Desire C is 600MHz, and yet the former costs 2k lesser.
