Elliptic diagrams : application to patterns detection from a finite set of points

摘要

The novelty of this paper is the selection of a family of affine diagrams, for which we show their adequate properties in detecting regular sampled patterns (structures) embedded in a noisy background. The technique of detecting the structures from a finite set of points is done through an extension of the a-shape concept, we name, elliptic a-shape.
