Automatic edge detection using 3 x 3 ideal binary pixel patterns and fuzzy-based edge thresholding

摘要

An edge magnitude and direction scheme that uses 3 x 3 ideal binary pixel patterns and a lookup table is described. Final edges are determined automatically using the non-maximum suppression with edge confidence measure and fuzzy-based edge thresholding, even in a changing environment.
