Skewing of corrugated sheets in the feed section due to wear patterns leads to excessive rejects and product waste. To minimize the movement of the sheet itself, ARC International has developed an anti-slip feed roller surface that incorporates a proprietary tread or gripper pattern in the roller surface. The anti-slip surface keeps the board on track more evenly and with less pressure, and as the roller wears over a prolonged period of time, the wear is clearly seen in the tread pattern itself. With conventional feed rollers with flat land areas, it's hard to recognize if uneven wear has developed on the roller surface. Used in conjunction with ARC'S "matched" new or reconditioned steel knurled pull roller with 45-degree diamond or straight horizontal pattern, sheets should be transferred more consistently and with less crush.
