The NANO 4 U process uses steel hologram stamps that are created by structuring the surface of the steel using a proprietary microano configuration method. On the Romaco machine, the steel stamps are integrated into the tooling in an embossing station (below), so there is no additional material or tooling involved. The hologram stamping takes place as part of the normal blister packaging process. It can create a hologram logo that changes with viewing angle, or it can be used to create a covert feature only viewable with a laser pointer.
