Brenton, powered by Pro Mach, displayed an integrated Brenton Mach-2 case packer, a Currie by Brenton pal-letizer, and an Orion FA stretch wrapper system designed for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility that reduces by up to 40 percent the manufacturing floor space typically required for these functions. In a first for Brenton, the robot is placed on top of the Mach-2 wraparound case packer to save floor space. The customer required 4 of these case packer systems in the work cell. The end of line system is fully automated other than loading blank cases into the case packer and film onto the stretch wrapper. The configuration and ease of operator use features will reduce the number of operators from two operators to one per every shift. As the plant operates 24 hours a day this greatly reduces the number of operators.
