Cognex has introduced the In-Sight VC200 series, a family of multi smart-camera vision systems that brings the performance and reliability of In-Sight vision systems to multi-camera vision applications. Butler Automatic announces an enhanced register sensor for new and existing SP1 automatic film splicers that improves upon the previous sensor's accuracy and reliability, and features software that more precisely controls the splice position, thereby reducing packaging film waste.
