This paper-based shock-absorbing material "PERIMAT" consists of a triple-layer paper ring held between sheets paper, and, paper rings structure is like a roll corru- gated fiberboard. It can be used in cases which plate-shape foamed plastic and loose-fill cushioning materials have conventionally been used, promising great popularity in such uses as electric equipment, food and china. The wole package after use can be recycled on a single channel, thus achieving compatibility with the corrugated fiberboard.
