小型紙パック用「エクストロー」＆大型用「エクスキャップ」の新展開

注げて，飲めるエクストロー（図1）は，2000 年11月に，キッコーマン様との共同開発にて 開始され，ソロカップ・ジャパン様の協力を 得て実現した。2002年春に，ピジョン様の紙 パック入り赤ちゃん飲料に採用された。赤ち やんが飲み残した分を，エクストローにより， 簡単に，晴乳びんに移し変えられるという利 点が評価された。その間に，いくつかの大手 ブランドオーナー様とも，医療・介護硯場で の，より有効的な活用方法を検討し続けた。%"Extraw" is a straw having innovative function, with which content inside a package can be directly squeezed out, or poured out into other containers smoothly. It is applicable to any existing packages with 5～6mmφ straw hale, having various usage patterns as a result of flexible bellows. This straw is worthwhile, particularly when the content is viscous and the side of volume is small. We have recently launched a jelly-like beverage in 100cc for supplementing amino acid to elder adults. New application in the health care industry is under going in replacement for a medical syringe for liquid food. "Excap" is a cap having a similar function as Exstraw, except that it is re-closable. It is designed for large sized packages such as 1 liter aseptic brick pack. The brick pack is necessary to have a straw hole of 8mmφ. It is scheduled to break into the market at the end of 2006. According to our preliminary survey, it is already receiving a good reputation for the reliability of function in pouring, cap tightness, and its appearance.
