業務用ぽんずにおけるシリカ蒸着PETボトルの採用について

「柚子のすがすがしい風味をなんとか保持 し続けたい」 「つくりたての柚子ぽんずの香りを，できる 限りよい状態でお客様にお届けしたい」 2005年の春夏業務用新商品として柚子ぽん ずの開発がはじまり，柚子の豊かな香りにこ だわった品質設計が進むなかで強く感じたこ とである。そして，その思いが容器にまでこ だわる新商品開発の契機であった。%In June 2005, we launched "Kikkoman Tappuri Yuzu Ponzu" (citrus soy sauce) for industrial use. This was developed as a value-added citrus soy sauce from the following two view points : 1. Its market has been expanded stably in the past years. 2. Cooking experts use homemade ponzu which has strong citrus flavor. The ponzu, based on our special soy sauce and containing abundant yuzu (citrus) fruit juice has rich juicy flavor. How we should maintain this flavor was our critical challenge. Considering its easy-to-handle property as an industrial commodity, we adopted silica deposited PET bottle. For the selection of the bottle, color evaluation, sensory and safety test were rendered. Their results showed that color and taste deterioration progressed slower in this bottle than in the conventional PET bottle, indicating the extended shelf life. For safety check, we performed vibration, free fall and heat-seal test under the cooperation of Hokkai Can Co., Ltd. to find the good result. Since its launch a year ago, we have had favorable feedbacks about its fruity citrus flavor we regarded as our goal. We would like to spare no effort in developing and offering the valuable goods including containers.
