GIDUE, a press manufacturer active in the label and packaging market since 1999, filed for voluntary wind up on December 22, 2008.rnThe fiscal year 2008 which ended on July 31, 2008, had bought the company sales worth €34 million. The sales forecast prepared by the worldwide sales network aimed at a further 10-20% growth in 2009 - the company's usual growth trend over the years. 'Unfortunately, the global recession hit the company beyond all expectation, causing an unexpected strong downturn in sales, which are no longer sufficient to cover the company's fixed costs,' says a company spokesperson.rnNuova Castagnoli, a former supplier of GIDUE for offset print units, vision systems and hot stamping technologies, has agreed to take on the servicing of existing presses and new sales.
