Innovative on-pack devices are instrumental in ensuring products stand out in the retail environment and they increase in-store product awareness. 'Roughly 70% of all purchase decisions are made while consumers are in the store, and can be swayed to the advantage of those brands with marketing savvy. It is vital to have a brand and a product stand out from the clutter and to engage the consumer while they are making these purchasing decisions. Creative use of on-pack promotions can prompt consumers to purchase products that they had not planned on purchasing, increase brand awareness, educate consumers about new products, and ultimately assist with increasing sales,' says Stephen Beattie, Pyrotec's PackMedia marketing and sales director.
