Nominations Invited For Supply Chain Awards

The third annual Supply Chain Management (SCM) Education Excellence Awards will take place in April 2009, hosted by The Association for Operations Management of Southern Africa (Sapics), with the participation of the Federation of Supply Chain Management Professionals.rnIn the run up to this event, Sapics has announced that it is looking for nominations of individuals, organisations and educators who have played an exceptional role in the development of supply chain education in southern Africa.rnThe awards aim to recognise and reward excellence in supply chain management education and raise awareness of efforts to develop the industry's people capabilities.rnNominations are invited in a number of categories, based on performance, sustainability, success and innovation. 'We will be looking for the Operations Management Education Programme of the Year, Student of the Year, Higher Education Institution Student of the Year and Corporate Educator of the Year,' explains Ken Titmuss, Sapics president.
