Innovation in packaging has become an increasingly important marketing strategy for multinational end users yet the breadth and depth of this innovation is limited by the absence of a broad relationship between global packaging managers and equipment manufacturers, according to a study initiated by the Italian packaging machinery association Ucima and conducted by Prometeia.
