Judging for the tlmiAwards Competition is never an easy job, and it gets incrementally more difficult each year. This year's competition featured 273 entries from 34 companies (26 North American and eight international). A total of 104 awards were bestowed, including Best of Show and 52 first-place honors Judge Peter Mulheran, president of SICPA North America, was impressed by the overall quality exhibited in the competition. "There were many really beautiful entries. There were a lot more digital-printed labels, and the quality of the digital printing is outstanding." At the same time, "flexo and offset are clearly holding their own in the quality end of things," he observed.
