The Cultural Construction of Organizational Life: Introduction to the Special Issue

In our call for papers, we sought to examine a number of questions about the role of culture in organizational life. This special issue brings together a set of interesting papers that do just that. Each study in this issue makes a contribution to the second wave of cultural analysis and advances a robust agenda for work in this area. The diversity of contributions is a testimony to the vibrancy of this field, but also a reminder that researchers trained and read in many different traditions would benefit from more extensive engagement with cultural ideas developed by parallel streams of research.
