摘要

We propose a statistical adaptive equalizer to simultaneously transmit a discrete multitone signal encoded by quadrature phase shift keying and non-return-to-zero on-off keying in an optical wireless link based on a white light emitting diode. We implemented a white light emitting diode based optical wireless link with 1 m transmission distance and 10 MHz physical frequency response to experimentally verify the proposed technique. Using the implemented optical wireless link, 10-Mbit/s non-return-to-zero on-off keying and 20-Mbit/s quadrature phase shift keying signals were successfully simultaneously transmitted. Thus, transmission capacity corresponding to three times the optical wireless link frequency response (10MHz) was implemented using the proposed technique.
