'Canonical alpinism' and 'Canonical surf-riding': A universal tool for normalised parametric analysis of one-dimensional periodic structures

摘要

We present a universal normalisation method for describing any periodic structure of finite size by a small number of independent parameters. In reduced coordinates, the responses of the structure do not depend nor on its geometrical dimensions, neither even on the physical nature of the waves under consideration.
