To present a stage model that provides an effective path in the development of citizenship in companies. Various activities included under the banner of corporation citizenship are briefly discussed. Five stages that can be helpful in the process of developing citizenship in companies are described. It is discussed about the seven specific dimensions of corporate citizenship that need to be implemented stage-wise. Hence, the stage model that integrates both the dimensions and the stages of their implementation is elaborated. Apart from the stage model, several factors are also presented that will help to shape the specific path in the development of citizenship in companies.
