It is discussed about how small worlds have evolved as inventors keep their mobility growing across firms and territory. In particular, the data collected in and around Silicon Valley and Boston in the United States in connection with small worlds are evaluated. It is observed that the organizations in small worlds often experience both positive and negative features with regard to the cases in dealing with inventors and the resulting benefits. In this regard, specific points are discussed that will help firms to manage the inventor's mobility so as to get higher benefits out of their ability with respect to creativity and innovation.
