摘要

Two institutionalist traditions, Viz. new institutionalism and the business systems approach are studied in depth with respect to their potential influences on globalization of modern organizations, in terms of their key dimensions and limitations. An analysis is made of what they can and cannot learn from each other so that one can apply an appropriate mix of the two for the betterment of organizational strategies.
