The efficient use of enterprise information for strategic advantage: A data envelopment analysis

The financial impact of on the adoption of enterprise systems (ES) in business enterprises is explored by examining the efficient use of different types of enterprise information in the realization of strategic performance. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used based on the data inputs from ERP system adopters to measure efficient information use. The information efficiency metric is validated as a strong predictor of Compustat profitability.
