Local search-based metaheuristics for the split delivery vehicle routing problem

摘要

The attribute based hill climber (ABHC) metaheuristic applied by this study to standard VRP (SRVP) performs extremely effectively. The quality of the local search is highly affected by modifications of the RELOCATE move adopted here to generate new feasible neighbor solutions in the problem scenario in which SRVP moves fail due to the high vehicle load factor, which is possible under split deliveries.
