摘要

The vehicle routing problem solutions methods proposed so far do not take in to account two real-life restrictions such as temporary traffic congestions and driving hour's regulations. This paper deals with vehicle routing problem with time windows under these real-life conditions. Temporary traffic congestions lead to late arrivals at their destinations as well as violations of driving hours regulations. Driving hour's regulations on the other hand, restrict the feasible vehicle routes in a vehicle routing problem. This paper deals take in to account the availability of historical time-dependent data to estimate the parameters so that the proposed optimal solutions are realistic. (29 refs.)
