摘要

Banned Books Week doesn't quite cut it anymore. Once upon a time, the nature of most library controversies was easy to predict—usually someone wanted Playboy or Huckleberry Finn or Judy Blume's latest novel removed from the collection. But the explosion of interest in the Internet and use of digital media are bringing librarians and other information professionals face-to-face with a whole new range of complex social and political issues.
